Mail Spark Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-16

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Mail Spark Chrome extension. Mail Spark aggregates explicitly authorized Gmail accounts, synchronizes and organizes mail, shows new-mail notifications, and detects and copies email verification codes.

2. Data we process

  • Basic Google account information, such as email addresses, to distinguish accounts you add.
  • Authorized Gmail messages, threads, labels and attachment metadata, to display, search, categorize and perform mail actions you initiate.
  • Verification codes detected locally in messages, only to highlight them and enable copying.
  • Extension settings, sync state, mail caches, OAuth sign-in state and membership entitlements, stored locally in the browser.
  • Order identifiers and payment status when you purchase membership. Payments are handled by the relevant payment provider; the extension does not store full bank card details.

3. How we use data

Data is used only for core Mail Spark features: account authorization, mail synchronization and display, categorization and batch actions, notifications, verification-code detection and copying, troubleshooting and entitlement verification. We do not sell user data or use email content for advertising, credit assessment or unrelated purposes.

4. Storage and security

Mail caches, settings and sign-in state are mainly stored in your browser. Google access uses OAuth tokens; we never ask for or store Gmail passwords. The server stores only the minimum data necessary to verify entitlements, protected by access controls and encryption in transit.

5. Data sharing

Necessary data may be processed by the Google Gmail API, Chrome browser services, Cloudflare hosting and your chosen payment provider. We do not disclose user data to third parties except for legal requirements, user or service security and necessary technical services.

6. Control and deletion

Remove accounts or clear local data in the extension, or revoke Mail Spark access in Google Account security settings. Uninstalling removes its local storage through the browser. Contact us below for server-side membership records or privacy requests.

7. Policy updates

We update this page and its “Last updated” date when features or data processing change. Significant changes will be communicated in appropriate places.
